Data controller

Art de l’Anglage, Alexandra Schmitz’s workshop in Les Brenets, is responsible for personal information sent directly to the workshop. Contact: alexandraschmitz@artdelanglage.com.

Contact form

Your enquiry is saved in private files outside the public website before a receipt reference is displayed. It includes the subject, name, email address, optional company and phone, preferred period, number of participants where supplied, message and language. Email notification to Alexandra and your acknowledgement are separate steps which can be retried if they fail. These data are used to reply, qualify your project and prepare a possible contractual relationship.

Security and abuse prevention

The form uses a discreet automated check, a temporary sending limit and the technical logs strictly necessary for operation and security. No marketing profile is created automatically.

Information received by email or phone

Alexandra replies personally. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Recipients and retention

Messages are accessible to Alexandra and, where required to provide the service, to technical email or hosting providers. They are retained for the time needed to handle the enquiry, manage any contractual relationship and meet applicable legal duties, then deleted or kept in a limited archive. This applies to private enquiry files, exports and email copies. Files are reviewed and deleted by the workshop when their purpose ends, subject to applicable obligations.

Measuring enquiry origins

This optional measurement is disabled by default. You can allow or decline it beside the form or through “Measure where enquiries come from” in the footer. With your permission, the broad origin category, network or search engine, link medium and a known workshop campaign are attached to your enquiry when available. Only categories and campaigns on our predefined list are accepted: arbitrary campaign parameter values, full URLs, search terms, referring website addresses and advertising identifiers are not recorded. No visitor identifier or browsing history is attached to your enquiry.

This permission covers only the origin attached to your enquiry. It does not authorise the audience measurement below. Likewise, permission for visit statistics does not allow an origin to be attached to your enquiry. You can withdraw each permission separately at any time using the corresponding controls. Declining or withdrawing permission does not change how your enquiry is handled.

When either measurement is allowed, the browser temporarily keeps a shared origin without a visitor identifier, preserving the first usable origin while you move between French and English pages. It expires after thirty minutes of inactivity or when the browser session ends. Each use checks its own permission. Permission or refusal is kept for 183 days in this browser. Previous permissions are not automatically extended to the new network and campaign tracking; refusals that remain valid are respected. “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” disable both measurements. If storage is unavailable, no origin is measured; the enquiry form remains usable.

An origin already attached to an enquiry follows the same retention, access and deletion rules as that enquiry. Our private dashboard may contain its reference, origin and business follow-up stage. Access is restricted to authorised people. Aggregate reports contain neither contact details nor form text. Qualified enquiries and confirmed enrolments are entered and verified through business follow-up: submitting a form does not confirm enrolment or book a date.

This tracking cannot reconstruct detailed origins for earlier enquiries. An unknown origin may also result from refusal, browser protection or a link without usable information; it does not prove a direct visit. Results reflect only the available signals and permissions. The hosting provider may separately retain technical logs required for service security and operation.

Optional audience measurement

With separate permission through “Privacy: manage my choices”, we measure viewed pages, selected clicks (including the brochure), form starts and successful submissions, scrolling and video playback. Since 10 October 2026, new permission is requested to include the network or search engine, link medium and known workshop campaign when available. This remains optional and independent of permission to attach an origin to an enquiry.

A temporary random identifier links actions within the same tab. It is renewed after thirty minutes of inactivity, at the UTC date boundary or when the session closes. It is never attached to an enquiry or used to connect a person with their browsing history. We keep the page path without query parameters, origin from predefined categories, language, screen category, action type and time. No form content, enquirer contact details, search terms, IP address or user-agent is recorded in these statistics. Email and telephone clicks use generic labels. Hosting security logs are separate.

Events are kept in a private directory on our Infomaniak hosting for up to thirteen months; audience reports in our Google Sheets dashboard are aggregated. Test sessions are isolated from audience statistics. These statistics describe visits with consent; they do not provide an exact count of all visitors. A brochure, email or telephone click does not prove a download, contact or enrolment.

Schedule and external services

The contact page automatically queries our application’s public calendar service at app.artdelanglage.ch to display the weeks documented by the workshop. This request does not transmit the contents of the contact form. If the response is unavailable, out of date or inconsistent, the website removes the availability indications and invites you to contact Alexandra; it does not replace them with an older copy of the calendar.

Media and external links

Videos are hosted locally. Other external services linked from the website are contacted only when the user chooses to open them.
